Microsoft to end Windows XP Support on April 8th, 2014

It’s no secret, Microsoft is ending Windows XP, Office 2003, IE 6 support on April 8, 2014. By now you should be receiving desktop notifications directly from Microsoft. It’s estimated that 40% of PCs are reported to be running Windows XP which accounts for approximately 600 million users; therefore, you are not alone. • Microsoft will stop providing patches and updates for the above-mentioned programs after this date.
• Upgrading to Office 2013 also requires upgrading to Windows 7 or newer version.
